Never felt more like singing the SHREWS...
The woeful sheep returned to playing action, fielding a strong (by their standards) outfit at Gay Meadow. Conference newcomers Shrewsbury Town were of course the hosts, and what a show they delivered! 5-0 was the final score as the home side ran riot.
So, just for those who have trouble registering the truth, or for those who'd just like an extra kick of satisfaction:
Shrewsbury Town (Conference) 5 - 0 D*rby County (Division one).

Here was me thinking that having made three respectable signings, and with a competent sheperd at the helm - the sheep were going to be pushing for a potential play-off place this season.
Silly me.
And since we are on the subject of 'Gay Meadow', I see it impossible to miss the link with D*rby's extraordinary new Goalkeeper's kit.
I just can't wait until Lee CAMP turns out in that.
